The Texas Rangers place Jason Jennings on the D.L.
The Rangers have placed righty starter Jason Jennings on the 15-day disabled list with muscle soreness in his right forearm. Jennings was off to a horrible start this season for the Rangers. In his first 6 starts of the season, Jennings was 0-5 with a 8.56 ERA and a 1.94 WHIP. Jennings will be replaced in the rotation by 26-year old lefty A.J. Murray. Murray has started 6 games in AAA ball so far this season and he was 2-0 with a 4.18 ERA and a 1.43 WHIP. Murray pitched in 14 games (2 starts) for the Rangers last year and he was 1-2 with a 4.50 ERA and a 1.43 WHIP.
